- "I’m a project manager for an Aerospace company but my real passion (other than my family) is Thoroughbred racing. Although I’ve followed the sport since at age eleven I saw Secretariat win the Triple Crown it wasn’t until last year that I decided to become involved. Realizing I needed to learn more about what makes a good (or better) race horse I began searching for a school which would allow me to learn while still working.
My Horse University became the answer, the information was presented in an easy to understand yet challenging format; while the videos gave tremendous substance and the feel of being there.
To date I’ve earned certificates in Horse Selection and Evaluation; Horse Breeding and Selection Series - consisting of - Selection of a Competition Horse; Breeding for a Champion; Preparing and Breeding the Mare; Post Natal Care.
I now have a blog which has a thousand plus hits per month and is read by some of the biggest names in Thoroughbred racing. I am a licensed Bloodstock in the state of Kentucky (kind of like a real estate agent for horses), and have set up deals with individuals and farms to sell their horses in value ranges from 20k to 250k.
The information and education I received from My Horse University has helped to open doors and allowed me to pursue my passion with the knowledge and understanding to become a success. As such I highly recommend anyone who wishes for any reason to have a better understanding of horses to attend My Horse University." — Bill Yates
